Trump hammers FBI's Comey for not jailing Clinton: 'She was guilty of every charge'

Source: RawStory

SARAH K. BURRIS

Prresident Donald Trump is not happy with FBI Director James Comey for not arresting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In an interview with Fox Business, host Maria Bartiromo claimed that many people don’t understand why there are still so many appointees or staff from President Barack Obama’s administration. She was specifically talking about Comey. Still, Trump expressed confidence in the embattled director.

“When Jim Comey came out, he saved Hillary Clinton. He saved her life,” referring to Comey’s declaration that he would not be charging Clinton with a crime.

“When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge, and then he said she was essentially OK,” Trump continued.

I wish she would come out with a statement to the effect that "The President has continued to slander and libel me. While I am a public figure my legal options are limited, the fact that the Trump Justice department has not pursued any charges is indicative of how I have done nothing warranting prosecution let alone conviction."

Let him rant. He sees the Carter Page problem. He's seeing the Steve Bannon problem. Operation Walls-Closing-In.

This isn't working out the way he assumed it would because he assumed it was just like running his private little self-owned "empire." You can dictate in that set of circumstances. You can do anything you want. Snap your fingers and the sycophants all scramble and bow and scrape. Say anything and they'll all nod and fawn. Screw people over and then say "sue me!" because you know they can't. Reneg on deals because you know your lawyers will get you out of it (and besides, your victims can't do anything to you. They don't have your reputed deep pockets). File for bankruptcy if you need an easy out (there'll always be somebody else who'll lend you money. Consequences? WHAT consequences? Don't they realize WHO YOU ARE???).

In your own cozy little private cloistered empire where only your family can tread, everything is controllable and managed. Easy-peasy. Everything goes your way. Outsiders coming in, and the "rabble" out there in the rest of the country that "simply doesn't get it" - well - that's something else altogether.

He can't control this.

He's used to controlling everything. Having EVERYTHING go his way. Having ANYTHING HE SAYS just magically, automatically, be exactly as he says it is.

But this world he's in now - doesn't respond. Doesn't behave the same way. Doesn't even HAVE TO. The objectors actually have standing, and clout, and teeth. And he not only does NOT own them, nor do they all work for him, nor are they all obligated to him in some way, nor do they all need jobs from him (that he's eventually going to stiff them on and they have no recourse), but they don't even HAVE TO. The press doesn't have to. The voters don't have to. The Democrats don't have to. And their supporters don't have to, either. NOBODY has to bow to him and make excuses for him and cover for him in this realm.

When the usual templates don't fit anymore, he's out of his element.

And it won't work. More people are getting wise to his tricks. I posted this somewhere else, earlier. I went to an Indivisible meeting last weekend. The Syria bombing had already happened. There wasn't one person in the room who believed it was anything other than a deflection/distraction tactic. Not ONE person in there was fooled. That's gonna spread. Especially after we all eventually saw it was an utterly meaningless gesture, and it didn't stop Assad from doing his dirty stuff again the very next day.

...on the grounds that Hillary Clinton is a public figure and lots of people have said what Lord Dampnut said.

But this isn't the first time the Damp Lord has called people criminals with no basis. He refuses to acknowledge that the Central Park Five were wrongfully convicted, for example, and is on record saying he still thinks they're guilty.

It's a matter of time before he slanders an innocent person who isn't a public figure and ends up in court. (Or, more likely, settles before it gets that far.)

Projection
Projection (Psychological)

1) An unconscious self-defence mechanism characterised by a person unconsciously attributing their own issues onto someone or something else as a form of delusion and denial.

2) A way to blame others for your own negative thoughts by repressing them and then attributing them to someone else. Due to the sorrowful nature of delusion and denial it is very difficult for the target to be able to clarify the reality of the situation.

3) A way to transfer guilt for your own thoughts, emotions and actions onto another as a way of not admitting your guilt to yourself.

As far as I know there were never any charges brought against her. Just a bunch of false news empty allegations.

One report I saw this morning somewhere said that Trump is very aware of his poll numbers. And he is very aware that they are really, really low.

So when nothing else is working just start in on Clinton and Obama. This is so odd considering that he is racking up multiple reasons to start impeachment proceedings against him.

As fear inducing and gross as it is, his narcissism/sociopathy or whatever you want to call it makes him say things that reveal his intent. He doesn't seem able to anticipate the reaction. It's helpful to know his thought process.

Now the media, public, opponents, and his advisors can anticipate his next moves and proactively react to them, deter and educate him about the risks. Even Bannon and Spicer should expect to be fired- has any of his employees lasted very long?

Even Comey. Has he heard of the Saturday Night Massacre? I fully anticipate his firing if the investigation doesn't go his way. The worst that could happen is he's forced to resign early and then pardoned. Better than having all that damaging information brought our.

First off, surely Maria Bartiromo realizes FBI directors serve for 10-year terms, and Comey has announced his intention to finish his term. And I'd question her judgment for choosing to ask if it was a mistake for Trump not to ask Comey to step down. She's just reinforcing the notion that law enforcement is a political tool to be wielded by the administration.

Anyway, plenty of bizarre stuff at the link below.
