Obama is back in Florida amid early signs of a big Hispanic election turnout

KISSIMMEE, Fla. President Obama, his lectern set in the middle of a baseball stadium here, made a case for Hillary Clinton on Sunday in an election that he described as s contest over the country's identity and values.
It is about the character of this country, Obama said of the election. Who are we? What do we stand for?
This was Obamas second trip in the past four days to Florida, where mobilizing the Hispanic vote is seen as critical to Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton winning the state.

The surge of Latino voters in Florida, a state that Trump probably must win if he is going to take the White House, bodes well for Clinton.

(43,876 posts)Democrats are in an enviable position for the most part. Anywhere they
are close they are putting time and energy and resources into it because
this might, could, sort of based on early voter turnout looks like a building
wave. Too early to say how big, if it's just part of those who normally
vote later, if there is depth behind it .... fingers crossed
