Melania Trump asks forgiveness for husband's 'offensive' comments
Source: The Hill
Melania Trump says she was offended by her husband Donald Trump's "unacceptable" sexual remarks about women, but is asking the nation to accept his apology.
Melania Trump said in a Saturday statement that the words my husband used are unacceptable and offensive to me.
This does not represent the man that I know. He has the heart and mind of a leader.
The audio released by the Washington Post on Friday revealed a vulgar conversation Donald Trump had in 2005, describing an unsuccessful attempt to seduce a married woman, and saying that when youre a star women let you do anything. At the time, Trump had been married to Melania for a few months.

(10,778 posts)No apology for the behavior -- not just the lewd "banter" but the misogynistic way he treated women -- which he clearly engaged in because he felt entitled. I guess she agrees that "stars" are allowed to sexually assault women, so yes, she is an enabler.

(34,582 posts)so it is obviously Hillary's fault, and she is unfit to run for president. Yet, tRump cheats on his wife, sends his wife out to apologize, and is fit to run for president. Should I presume tRumps cheating is Melania's fault? I really try to figure their logic out, but it generally gives me a headache.
