Harper seen as working hard to improve Canada-U.S. relations

Source: Canadian Press

A new poll indicates a majority of Canadians feel Canada is taking an effective approach to its relations with the U.S. and that Prime Minister Stephen Harper is working hard to make them better.

The Canadian Press-Harris Decima survey found 64 per cent of respondents felt the approach to relations was working and 58 per cent felt Harper was working hard on the relationship between the two countries.

...

And the survey respondents indicated about one in five feel U.S. President Barack Obama's decisions and actions have improved relations between the North American neighbours.

Fifty-three per cent of those surveyed said Obama has worked hard to improve relations.

But 38 per cent felt his decisions had a negative impact on the Canadian economy.

Yep. After all the damages he's done (and hasn't finish doing yet).

The fact that it's down from the 39 per cent of batshit crazy voters who brought him and his Reform thugs to majority power is very little comforting.

At least the NDP is going UP (36 per cent now, compaired to somewhere around 30 per cent on election night).

BUT haRpeR governs like there's no opposition whatsoever, doing everything he wants.

No wonder sovereignty is growing in Quebec...
