(14,093 posts)THAT THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE WAS NEVER FUCKIN HIDDEN TO BEGIN WITH!
It was right there, on Obama's campaign website, the day it was asked for. A perfectly legal copy.
But these morons started screaming for "the long form" and the president had to get Hawaii to make an exception in the case of their records law so that he could give the longform to the media.
Nothing was ever hidden. No money was ever spent "hiding" anything, let alone "millions," as Trump and Palin both claimed.
It was all a total rightwing myth. There was no service to perform.

(1,641 posts)You're into it, pal. You spent years in it. You told Meredith Vieira we wouldn't believe what your people were finding in Hawaii. What were your people finding in Hawaii? You're in it. You stink of it and you're the only one who can't smell it.

(25,929 posts)surprised that I got something that rather resembled the one that Obama has made public. I was born in a different state, in a different year, and a long time ago when I first got a birth certificate it was an actual copy of the one filed when I was born and included all sorts of things such as how many other children my mom had given birth to, and their legal addresses when i was born.
The recent one was quite different, although it included enough information that the State Department was happy to use it to grant me a passport.
My point is that Donald is an idiot. If I were a public figure and you wanted to contest my birth information, you could just go out there and say, "I have no idea where PoindexterOglethorpe was really born". What a crock.
(Obviously, PoindexterOglethorpe is a fictitious identity, and I'm not remotely pretending it's a real one.)
