What is most controversial about this issue isnt the fact that a mistake was made, but the fact that a mistake was made and the Colorado Democratic Party tried to cover it up rather than fix it. The Sanders campaign was not informed about the miscount, while the Clinton campaign was.
Rick Palacio, Democratic Party Chairman, said that he didnt tell the Sanders campaign about the discrepenacy because it didnt necessarily affect (them). It was our mistake that ended up affecting the estimation of Hillarys campaign.

(12,882 posts)let's peel away the band-aids and reveal the putrefied rot that passes for a supposedly democratic organization. The ONLY time the DNC knows I'm alive is when they have their hand out.

(10,345 posts)There's more going on than just this.
So next time you say, "Well Hillary's winning..." You're just giving the middle finger to all of those who were screwed out of their vote.
People died for other's right to vote, and if you're just happy Hillary's winning, then you've got some issues.

It would seem male Jewish candidates don't count as a minority.

(109,231 posts)And the problem was fixed and the correct numbers were reported to the state weeks ago, and the delegates assigned to Bernie.
This is an example, state officials say, of why the very complicated caucus system, which depends on so much work by volunteers, should be replaced by a universal primary.
