Haley Faces Conservative Backlash After SOTU Response

Source: NBC

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley impressed some Democrats and moderate Republicans with her Republican response to the State of the Union Tuesday night - but there's already backlash brewing on the conservative right.

"Trump should deport Nikki Haley," conservative commentator Ann Coulter tweeted part way through Haley's speech. She later added: "Nikki Haley says 'welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of religion.' Translation: let in all the Muslims."

Radio host Laura Ingraham also tweeted about Haley's speech, writing, &quot Former Obama official) Van Jones just praised Nikki Haley speech. Enough said."

Amazing how that side has to brown nose the lunatic fringe's spokestrolls like Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, Ingraham and Levin.

only wants to hear racist, anti-Muslim, anti-immigrant, homophobic crap. Haley might as well be a Democrat as far as the average Trump or Cruz supporter is concerned.

She had a right to sign off on taking that confederate flag down the second she got into office - and didn't use it. She also could have used it when Mother Emmanuel got attacked but nope. It had to go before a state vote where the fascists got a chance again. Luckily some of them had a conscience. She didn't. She's a republican is enough to explain her.

isn't she like 110? she sure looks like it . Her ideas are from a civilization ago. Can we act like ancient eskimoes and put her on an ice floe to drift away and be eaten by a bear, the bears are pretty hungry I hear with global warming.

Afterall, it was a historic moment--President Obama's last SOTU speech. But there's no telling what she would have said had she not been among those kicked under the bus by tRump.

The Cuckoo Crazies are further alienating themselves from their only hope of governance - the party proper. Pretty soon their little Titanic-esque Carnival Cruise will be a lonely group of bat guano 20%ers floating in a couple scraggly lifeboats.

She actually sounded mostly human and not just some wind up hate doll like most of the SOTU rebutalls. She was obviously also trying to inject reality and sanity into the party. No wonder the tealiban is so upset!!
