Instead of being united in defeating the sick republican crazy party that will absolutely destroy whatever chance normal working people have in this country, we have those who are determined to undermine any of our candidates with innuendo, crass and disturbing accusations and downright ugly distortions. I have seen the enemy and it is us. Are we really ready to throw this country in the toilet? Some people here are becoming just as unhinged as the repukes. Good god, did you all forget what the Bush years gave us? Well, what is coming will be your worst nightmare.

It may sound farfetched, but I would not rule it out.

You never know.

Hillary really wants to win, really, really wants to win.

Her ambition just to prove herself is visible.

So, I don't know. I don't like to think it would be possible, but I would not rule it out.

The debate schedule suggests that the Hillary supporters in the DNC and elsewhere will stop at nothing, not even ruining the chances of the Democratic Party to win in November, 2016 to get Hillary the nomination.

That debate schedule is hard to explain unless it is intended to downplay the Democratic Party's primary candidates.

The DNC and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz give the impression to many of us that they will stop at nothing to get the nomination for Hillary.

That is splitting our party. Wasserman-Schultz needs to resign.

We shall find out whether and what ties Uretzky has or had to the Hillary campaign. I wouldn't want to take a guess one way or the other, but the idea should be explored.

will do everything their money can buy to get their way. No price is too high to keep a true progressive out of the WH.

In 2008 the Clinton campaign was known for their dirty tricks. Sadly this behavior will not help the party. It might help the 1% Oligarchy but not our party.

Why wouldn't Hillary's staff look forward to proving this to be just that?

Let the investigation begin!

Maybe it's just me, always looking for a trap.

But this is about a recommendation. That could be as small a thing as listing someone as a reference on your job application. Maybe Uretsky worked at NGP VAN and maybe his ex-boss, when asked, had something nice to say about him. That is not to say that NGP VAN steered Bernie's campaign to Uretsky in the first place. Maybe they just recommended him in a reference.

The idea that Uretsky was a plant is, as the Mediaite piece says, an insinuation on the part of an unnamed Bernie staffer. "Unnamed" gives me the sense that this is someone without much authority.

Not to mention they chose the staffer they fired.

Trying to blame this on Hillary's campaign now just makes them look like silly amateurs.

Thats not a bash at though Bernie because the fact is there is no evidence that he knew or approved so its not fair to hold him responsible for this persons actions anymore than trying to hold Hillary responsible for the actions of anyone who is supporting her unless there is evidence to prove that she sanctioned there actions before hand.

34. This could also be about "Rather-izing" the Sanders campaign.
Sat Dec 26, 2015, 07:16 PM
Dec 2015

WE NEED A TRULY INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION ASAP.

Note, Ratherizing Bernie would be a perfect solution for TPTB, since part of his message is that the system is "rigged" against the 99%. So Ratherizing him undermines ALL his messages – as in, even if you respect his integrity, are you sure he really knows what he's talking about and isn't just paranoid?

Granted, all the paranoia in the world seems justified here, but. I'm not sure it's necessary to jump to conclusions, esp. when they might be very difficult to prove, esp. so long as all the records are in the hands of the opposition.

But we do need to keep up the pressure for a REAL investigation, with conclusions to come out asap!!!

37. Republican Plants in the Democratic Party?
Sat Dec 26, 2015, 07:25 PM
Dec 2015

I have sometimes wondered if some of our DLC Democrats are just Republican plants. If it walks like an R, sounds like an R and votes like an R then it is an R.

I am not sure about the plant idea for the Sanders campaign. It could have also just been someone very young who lacked experience.
The plant idea is possible too. It is fishy that NGP VAN recommended this person. We will never know.

It's a sad world where we pay more attention to this than the candidates issues and plans for our future. These are tough times and we need to have the press focus on issues and platforms, plenty to solve.
