Hillary Clinton Accepts Endorsement of International Union of Painters and Allied Trades

Source: 4President.org

On Wednesday, Hillary Clinton attended a press conference at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 15 Training center in Henderson, Nevada and proudly accepted the endorsement of the IUPAT.

At the event, which followed her successful appearance in the first Democratic Debate, Clinton thanked the IUPAT members for their support:

“So I'm feeling really lucky in Las Vegas again—feeling really lucky—and I think that, you know, last night was a good night. Today is just as good. Getting the endorsement of this union and the members that you represent, and what it means to really focus on the trades, it doesn't get any better than that. So I'm grateful for this endorsement, I'm grateful for the support.”

The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades follows the National Education Association (NEA), the Operative Plasterers’ and Cement Masons’ International Association (OPCMIA), United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers, the American Federation of Teachers, the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers, and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry in backing Clinton.
