TRENTON President Barack Obama took a jab at Chris Christie on Monday over the governor's controversial statement about wanting to deliver a "punch in the face" to teachers' unions.
The president, in speech at the Greater Boston Labor Council's annual Labor Day Breakfast, mocked the governor along with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who's also well known for taking on teacher unions.
"One presidential candidate, he is bragging about he destroyed collective bargaining rights in his state. And he says that busting unions prepares him to fight ISIL. I didn't make that up," said Obama said, taking a jab at Walker.
Obama continued: "And then there was the guy these guys are running for office, they're running for the presidency who said a union deserves a punch in the face. Really? Tell me how you really feel."

(405 posts)For riding my horse on the same trail as hers, but in the opposite direction. (Actually, there was plenty of room to pass.)
Anyhow, that's why Christie wants to sock the unions in the face. They are going forward on the trail of progress and Christie is going backward, and given Christie's obesity, there could be no room for both.
Thanks to Mr. Sanders for making me clarify this.

(405 posts)Quite the opposite. You must have misunderstood my metaphor. Perhaps I should explain it. Christy is going back to the past and unions are headed toward progress, but there is no room for both on the same path because he is too fat to pass.

His plan to privatize our schools system with "Charter Schools",
and his appointment of Arne Duncan to run that show has done more harm to the
Teachers Union than that fat gas bag with the weird hair.
