Donald tRump's First Russia Lie And 99+ More Team tRump Russia Lies
The first member of Team tRump to lie about Donald tRump’s secret connections, or clandestine emails, or rogue meetings, or stealthy Twitter direct messages or hush-hush phone calls to the Russians was Paul Manafort. It happened July 24th, 2016 on ABC’s This Week with George Stephanopalous, when the host asked the national campaign chair: “Are their any ties between Mr. tRump, you or your campaign and Putin and his regime?”
Paul Manafort: “No, there are not. It’s absurd. There’s no basis to it.”
That was a lie.
