3. Yes, I know, but the House committee is Republican-led
and has been so obstructionist that I don't think that implicating Rorbacher is the Republican motive. Was the scheduling of the interview part of the effort to fast track witnesses so that Democrats might miss a chance to question him?

7. Reportedly, this committee has to "finish" investigating
and report its "findings" before Trump can fire Mueller and halt the investigation. At least this is a step that would increase their chance of succeeding.
So they're rushing the interviews to get them done as soon as possible to put them in position in case they do take the enormous step of stopping the investigation. This and a number of other things. |
