the medicare insurance we have to pay in part B.
No raise again this year!
Funny how it seems to exactly cancel out any raise.

(15,818 posts)The very next day I got a letter from Social Services, advising that my "increase in income" will cause my SNAP benefit to decrease by $2 more than the raise.
It never ends.

(34,661 posts)6 Bucks or two gallons of Gas. And if you live in Wisconsin,your SNAP most likely will be 16 bucks,down from 25 as per family living there.

And to add insult to injury, I will have to pay fed income tax on 85% of that increase that I don't receive in my pocket. So my take-home actually decreases in the long run.

Next time I clean off my desk I will look for Mr. Dixie's notice, it was a couple bucks less, I think.
