If they didn't know what secrets he was keeping, I'd think they wouldn't be worried!

Perhaps that's the intended optics of all the "White House breathes sigh of relief that Flynn pleads guilty" stories.

Trump, and the circle around him, buy into the "nothing to be afraid of" delusion. Saner members of the WH staff can see the writing on the wall.

Trump and his outrage. We have watched it for two years now. The man claims he sexually assaults women and is all for the White Supremacist, KKK, Nazi.

That seems so beyond the norm.

That makes me a defeatist?

We have been saying for two years, Trump is going to get in trouble for this or that.

He has Russian mafia on a whole floor or two, in the Trump.

That seems way out there to me. And that is nothing compared to other stuff he has gotten away with.

I am wrong?

I think the Democratic Party is in a great position. As I state, they win on governing. I am thrilled to be a part of a party that actually do their jobs, and give the examples of being grown ups addressing the issues for "We the People". I am very proud of our successes in the face of no power. I think that is pretty great and I feel we are in an excellent, strong position to gain power in 2018. That is not pessimistic.

I am anxiously awaiting the unraveling of the Russian influence. I think that is huge. Mueller is doing a precise job and has the confidence of the Democratic Leadership.

today it looks like the Republicans have the vote. I really hope it is a fail. They often do setting law. The possibility is there at least, from past experience. But, it has to go to House, I believe. So this one is not a win for them, or over. We seem to have the victory in the political, and not the propaganda area. We seem to lose, though how that happens?

Ryan, McConnell, Rohrabacher, Nunes, Gowdy, Chaffetz....how many of these Republicans may have received Russian money or have Russian business ties.

I think about the Trump surrogates --always out in front to defend him Sen. David Perdue of GA, Chris Collins-NY,
Mayor Giuliani.

How many really need to be weeded out of our government.

Compromised people must get nervous when prosecutors start investigating anyone with whom they have been complicit and have an interest in ending the investigation promptly- so many now have an interest in getting Trump and Pence out of office as quickly as possible.

Is there some implication of law-breaking by people currently in the administration because of Flynn's conviction? Because if there is, shouldn't Congress be exercising some oversight as a check and balance on the Executive? Where are the flocks of yesteryear, the intrepid investigators who had to fly-speck every aspect of the previous administration? Tom? Devin? Trey? Where art thou?
