An argument for why allowing Conservatives to vote is a VERY bad idea (?!?!?!) (Original Post) Soph0571 Nov 2017 OP
I wouldn't vote for Moore, because the allegations are credible and supported by evidence. I would Demsrule86 Nov 2017 #1

vote for Franken because the allegations are bullshit and a right wing plot to take Franken down...if they managed that, they have a good shot at the seat...so the answer is it depends on the circumstances.

I don't trust the right wing...and I know it is no accident this is coming out now...if we are not careful...we will be a permanent minority as we help the GOP destroy our successful Democrats with innuendo and lies...for 'purity'.

Remember the long history of winning the right to vote?

No? check out some history on it. and on the labor struggles of the last hundred years, and of the women's movement for that same time, which we had to fight all over again since 1970.

What about disenfranchisement through the gerrymandering and voter suppression that conservatives practice? Taking these into account, it would be interesting to see just how much of an impact the figures in that chart make in certain races. Can the 43% of conservatives who vote outweigh the 81% of liberals who would vote against? While we can't call for eliminating a group's voting privileges, we can use the statistics to point out how the minority should not be winning seats.
