Trump Impeachment Petition Crosses 250,000 Signatures
An online petition to have President Donald Trump removed from the Oval Office has reached more than a quarter-million signatures.
The petition was started at Change.org by The Million American Petition and has reached more than 264,300 signatures of its 300,000 goal, The Inquisitr reported.
After reaching their 300,000-signature goal, the group plans on delivering the petition to the U.S. Congress, U.S. House of Representatives, and The People Of The United States of America.
The petition accuses Trump of treason and violating the Patriot Act. It suggests that Trump conspired with the Russian government to swing the 2016 presidential election in his favor, and that Trump poses an “immediate threat to national security and his use of intimidation as president presents undeniable challenges in this investigation.”
