Trump calls on NFL to suspend Raiders' Marshawn Lynch

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump took to Twitter to criticize Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch early Monday morning.

After photographs surfaced showing Lynch standing during the Mexican national anthem and sitting during the US national anthem at a game against the New England Patriots in Mexico City on Sunday, Trump called for his suspension.
"Marshawn Lynch of the NFL's Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down," he tweeted.

Lynch is a known sexual assaulter (a non issue in the NFL) so maybe Trump is hoping to get that going again,

Other reasons include:

no clear dominant teams. Many teams hovering near the .500 mark

Saturation on TV with Sunday afternoon, evening, Monday night and Thursday night too

The republicans would be burning that mother down, calling for investigation after investigation, raising hell on Fox News, and calling for impeachment and/or resignation.

Oh wait - a democratic president wouldn't do that.

They were playing in Mexico City, so the Mexican national anthem was played. I guess the player has no beef against Mexico, so he stood for that anthem. Like many black men, though, he does have a legitimate beef about how the United States treats its African-American citizens, so he sat for our anthem.

Freedom of speech, Trump. Learn about it.

When Mr. Bear had a bypass it was the year of “I’m just here so I don’t get fined” and we in Seattle were obsessed with Marshawn. We laughed like crazy at him twitting the media and being Beastmode as hell. It really was sustaining and at my great age the beginning of my interest in a football team for the first time.

Marshawn is my BOO, even after he left to finish his career back home. 24 > 45!!
