Fox Business host: Comparing Franken to Trump accusations 'apples to oranges'

BY JULIA MANCHESTER - 11/18/17 03:25 PM EST

Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo on Friday pushed back on comparisons of sexual misconduct allegations against President Trump and Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.).

"You're comparing something that is apples to oranges, it's not the same at all," Bartiromo told former Obama administration official Chris Lu on "Mornings with Maria."

Bartiromo and Lu were discussing the recent sexual misconduct allegations against Franken, which reportedly occurred before he was a U.S. senator, as well as allegations against Trump, which were made before he was an elected official.

"As your own network has reported, there are now eight or nine women who have made allegations against Roy Moore. There's probably an equal number who have made allegations against the president," Lu said.

Whether or not we hear the allegations out with respect to the pain the women experienced or hold up patriarchal values of dismissing claims when they are uncomfortable or inconvenient is what matters.

Does Maria have a spotlight under the desk shooting up at her face?

Where did the woman in the brown come from? She wasn't introduced and her name ever appeared on screen that I saw. Of course, she had to kill time with the normal "elite liberal" bullshit. She started with making sure the viewers knew she was conservative. What I found really funny was that she let her southern accent slip out when she said "five". Literally battling it th whole time.

Maria got caught flat footed when Lu mentioned the Trump accusers. Twice. She had nothing. Maria followed up on the woman in Brown's comment with "typical".

THEN
profroma Republican guy with a haircut and a suit shows up for no reason. Again no name given.
