Al Franken, Don't You Dare Even Consider Resigning!!!!!

This has me sooo pissed off right now. The same reich wing party, with their alleged bible fearing, holier-than-thou Christians, are pushing the "Al Franken must resign meme?" They support Trump and Moore and how many others and it's Franken that must resign? BULLSHIT!!!

I heard on the radio today....a right wing news radio program, that Franken apologized and the accuser/victim accepted the apology. Where are the apologies from Trump and Moore....there is no equivalency here. This is another of their "bait and switch" tactics. It's time to be tough my fine Democratic friends, see through it and fight back.

Remember this!!!! They want Franken out because he is a tough, smart, hard working democratic senator who will not bow down to them. They tried to get Pelosi, now it's Franken's turn I guess. Call them out on their hypocrisy and stop spreading their (likely Russian) propaganda!!!

Dropped on a Thursday afternoon for maximum effect.

No wonder all these assholes are so in love with Mother Russia. This “sow doubt and confusion” is vintage KGB.

And I fear that’s the epicenter of this whole fucking mess. More and more, it looks like Trump is Putin’s lapdog, and the U.S. is becoming a Russian satellite state. “Rexxon” Tillerson, who’s been dismantling the State Department, just gave a no-bid contract for security U.S. embassy in Moscow to a Russian firm with ex-KGB ties. When the Russians have a decades-long history of spying on the U.S. embassy as if their very lives depended on it (maybe so).

THAT is what we’re up against.

I'm proud of the way that most Democrats don't try to excuse the bad behavior of their teammates, but I don't like the way it's being used against us. The right wing knows we'll fall all over ourselves to condemn this behavior, which is fair and good, but the thing that bugs me is that THEY KNOW THAT'S WHAT WE DO.

This is certainly not to excuse what Al Franken actually did. It was wrong and gross, and I'm horribly disappointed. But it is, what, 1% as bad as what Trump or Moore did? The picture is very offensive even as a joke (I mean, what kind of adult DOES that?), and the kiss was nasty, but it's not habitual pussy-grabbing or chronic pedophilic stalking. He shouldn't get away scot free, but he shouldn't be the one to pay the highest price.

Yeah, Al Franken did something stupid. He apologized. He took full responsibility for his actions and said he was ashamed. He apologized.

All I hear on TV is how bad what Frankin did. They totally ignore that she accepted his apology. She wasn't looking for a witch hunt, she was just doing a 'it happened to me too'.

He screwed up. She called him on it. He took full responsibility for his actions and said he was ashamed of his actions. Fully took it all on him and apologized. SHE ACCEPTED his apology. It is OVER! He didn't scream "I did not". He didn't say "She's a liar". He didn't say "I'm going to sue her." He said "I screwed up!" He said "I'm sorry and I am ashamed of myself." (Oh, yeah, she wasn't a teen-ager either.)

So, let's elect Roy Moore. Let's keep Trump for 7 more years. But let's force Franken to resign. And, whatever we do, don't cover his apology and her acceptance of his apology.

I'm so pissed I can barely speak!

Just so we can say 'see, we're better than you.'

And I won't play that game, because Al Fraken made a bad joke that even he admits was more hurtful than funny, and Roy Moore is a fucking pedophile.

They want us to play Apples and Oranges, and if this were Apples and Oranges, I'd be happy to indulge them.
This is NOT Apples and Oranges. It's Kittens and Marmalade. Fuck them. Senator Franken is correct, LET there be a formal inquiry into his actions. And THEN let's see if Mitch is willing to play by the same rules (hint--he aint, not even a fucking little bit) after the lunatics in Alabama elect that worthless criminal pedophile to the same US Senate as Mr. Franken.

Yeah, I didn't think so, either...

And finally, to paraphrase:
'And Roger Stone?...Whereever you are out there...FUCK YOU, TOO!'.

and the investigation will not prompt any big change. He made a mistake, as a citizen, not as a Senator. He is sorry, his accuser forgives him, he won't do it again. He will be fine.

I would love an investigation, because I don’t think Al is an actual groper. I listened to Janeane Garofalo and Randi Rhodes who both knew him well and cannot believe it is true.

I believe it’s a right wing hit on him and well planned. I don’t know the exact reason, but there is a lot there for speculation.

The thing about Al, he was always out there as a comedian and a political person. He knew there was so much stuff out there that could make him look foolish when he ran for Senate, but did it anyway.

That photo is not about Al as some pervert. It is all about opportunity to make him out to be one.

Of course I might be wrong, but let’s see.
