Al Frankens Accuser Says She Doesnt Think He Should Resign From The Senate

The woman accusing Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) of sexual harassment, Leeann Tweeden, said that she does not think Franken should step down, but she might change her mind if more women come forward.

She’s saying that, if this was an isolated incident, then she thinks the apology suffices (even if they don’t agree on part of the incident). But if he had/has a pattern of similar behavior, then she might view resignation as necessary.

Jackie Speier accepted Franken's apology. Speier said Franken should not resign the Senate.
IMO case closed.

that was an unexpected develepment.
Investigations may expose ties to the right wing
then everyone will doubt her claims.
