Pulling it apart, its kind of interesting. Look at those transactions where the money was laundered.(I'm sorry, allegedly laundered) Three pieces of real estate in New York. A home improvement company in the Hamptons on Long Island. A landscaping company in the Hamptons. A men's clothing store in New York. An antique dealer in New York. A contractor in Florida. An oriental rug dealer in Virginia. The destination of these payments is as important as the source. No names, just "Vendors A-Q". Looking for clues on where this is headed. Any ideas?

(1,896 posts)I think Trump has been laundering money for the Russians for years. There are going to be transactions that he has done and that the Kushners have done in the past that are going to look a lot like what you're going to find in the indictment. Mueller is telling Trump "you know and I know that this is going to get ugly".

(1,427 posts)But seriously, Trump and his org have done biz with Russian Oligarchs and it would be natural for Trump (given his skirting of NY State and Fed laws over his career) to turn to Manafort and either ask or be advised about how to bring the money back and wash it clean without taxation.
