Ambassador Scott Brown has fronted over mounting "innuendo and rumour" about a State Department investigation into his behaviour.
U.S. Ambassador Scott Brown told a New Zealand website Wednesday that he accepted advice that he should be more culturally aware after a U.S. inquiry into his conduct at a Peace Corps event in Samoa.
The Stuff website said Brown acknowledged that complaints were made about his comments to a female food server and to arriving guests at the July event in the Pacific country. Stuff reported Brown told the server she could make hundreds of dollars as a waitress in the U.S. and told some guests they looked beautiful.

For anyone wondering, I'm laughing about Scott Brown and not about the way that the female server was treated.

(8,311 posts)The description comes from Supreme Court Justice Vui Clarence Nelson who jailed the 63-year-old man for 21 years yesterday.
The man whose name has been suppressed to protect the victim and their children was convicted of one count of rape and 11 counts of incest.

(112,660 posts)I was noting the irony of the headline just after Scott Brown had visited. One of the female servers could have told a tale that could be summarized with the same headline.

(112,660 posts)and while there was an article about Scott Brown's visit, there weren't any of the salacious details that inquiring minds like to know.

(2,120 posts)... thank God we kicked his low-class, ignorant ass to the curb. Just a political wannabe with no real talents, intellect or experience.
Note the article says: "many people at the event didnt like Trump and he suspected there might be some political motivation behind the complaints."
Because of course the whining Republicans can never accept responsibility for their actions but instead immediately howl and shriek they're being picked on. Poor little victims can't ever catch a break, can they?
