Tweety: The Democrats should be nervous about the Virginia Election

He keeps saying this shit on his show.Last week he talked about Gillespie has some kind of hidden vote and does better than polls suggest. He actually said he thinks Gillespie wins

the GOP is all about those "hidden votes"
really depends on how much they want to steal this particular governorship vs. preserve the illusion of democracy in America

They will be voting in large numbers. Because if they don’t they will lose their voting rights with a rethug controlled governor and legislature.

If you live in or near VA, knock on doors.

If not, pick up the phone (I know several progressive groups have predictive dialers).

Revenge is for morons. I learned that quickly in Las Vegas. Every idiot thought the team that lost the prior meeting owned the advantage. That is crap. It is exactly the opposite. A late rallying victory inspires incredible energy and determination to do it again, to smack the opponent in the mouth to verify the pecking order while laughing all the way. Last night I bet heavily on the Patriots due to Fury of Anti-Revenge (FAR) against the Falcons after the Super Bowl outcome. I've mentioned that wagering angle many times on this site, although not in recent years.

The Republicans own surreal motivation and incentive. That's all I'm saying. This race would define 2017 and provide incredible boost toward Trump into 2018. The low approval numbers wouldn't mean a damn thing if they steal the governors race in a state with a Democratic governor and that voted for Hillary. The media narrative would be relentless, painting Democrats as failures once again despite theoretical advantages. Trump would chirp and chirp and chirp. All they have to do is pull off one upset in a hardly impossible race and suddenly they can convince reluctant candidates to run in 2018, and draw more volunteers and donors, etc.

We can't allow it to happen. I think there is a hidden Shy Tory white vote out there time after time in favor of the GOP right now so I don't believe any poll with Northam significantly ahead. I suspect Northam wins narrowly thanks to independents shifting our way.

The Russians have our number. They own the propaganda machine and they can smear any candidate at any time. We are literally sitting ducks right now. We live in truly dangerous times right now.

13. We are voting in VA already
Mon Oct 23, 2017, 10:14 PM

the polls are already open to early vote. In Va the polls close at 7pm which is ridiculous if you live in northern VA. The chances of getting home to vote in NOVA traffic are slim so my wife and I both already voted. We will be in Prince William county on Saturday trying to get people to the polls. Last weekend we drove to UVA and did not see a lot of signage for the democratic ticket. All the more reason to work hard.
