Mitch McConnell said something that makes sense for any political party.

When he was being held hostage by President HairWeave at that presser a few days ago, he said that you need to nominate candidates who can win. Ideological extremists who can't win don't get to legislate. Winners do. Losers don't.

All this bullshit about favorite candidates, about hand grenade tossers, whatever.

We need to nominate winners.

Kinda simple theory.

Not so simple to accomplish.

This is the major mistake that Trump makes practically all the time. He states goals, not methods nor means nor plans!

I said that goals do NOT substitute for plans, and that certain people (Trump) don't seem to be able to distinguish between them. Goals alone are vacuous. E.g. let's make America great again; I'm the one to fix that; I'll balance the budget. All empty rhetoric. You reminded me of the old punch line: I said, "For some reason people don't seem to like me, why don't you open your ears pinhead!"
