Pat Robertson's 700 Club

I watch one of the TV judge/court room shows on the TV channel just preceding Pat Robertson's 700 Club.
At the end of the show I am watching, and just as the 700 Club is about to start,
there is always an announcement saying:

"The following is a paid commercial advertisement"

So, Pat Robertson's 700 Club is a paid commercial advertisement?

...when Pat Robertson sold his cable channel (it was generating too much profit and putting CBN's non-profit status at risk), he included a contractual provision requiring the purchaser to continue broadcasting the 700 Club. Since the network can't control the program content, they put a "don't blame us" statement at the beginning.
