Trump Will Have To Blow Everything Up Before GOP Leadership Even Says Anything. (Original Post) TheMastersNemesis Oct 2017 OP
That's the plan of most in the GOP leadership. Rump's hard to control, but overall Hortensis Oct 2017 #1

things are at least going the direction planned in spite of many glitches.

Ever heard of the Kochs and other archconservative metamillionaires? If what they've been up to is some huge secret it's because the MSM almost never mentions them. They're extremely powerful, but if you google names like Koch and Mercer (just 2 of MANY) some people are publishing a bit more than before as things get very bad.

In this era, most of America's conservatives, always somewhat anti-government, anti-tax in sympathies, have been turned into a right-wing extremist religious, social and economic movement. This movement was conceived, conspired, and executed by some members of the ultrapowerful ultrawealthy classes we should never have allowed to exist.

Eisenhower and Justice Louis Brandeis warned us of what they were observing in the 1940s and 50s, but the move to take over our democracy really only starting getting formidably organized in the 1970s as wealth increasingly accumulated, and exploded in the 1990s-to present.

And now that victory is finally possibly within their reach, their plans are currently foiled by the intense corruption and incompetence of congress and executive branch that is their creation. Also by the mindless rebellion of the trumpsters, who know something's terribly wrong but don't know who their enemies are.

And also by the Democratic Party and Democrats they failed to corrupt into the ruins we see on the right.

"The only legitimate functions of government are protection of person and property." Charles Koch on one of the extremely rare occasions that he revealed his plans in public.

Not just sustainability, though. The Kochs' fortune is in energy, and they've been a major force behind climate denial since the 1960s, when President Johnson formally informed congress that it needed to take action.

They claim to be libertarians, Paul Ryan probably is the real thing, and that creep Mercer almost certainly must fit that label as well as any other, which means they at least officially believe replacing this "sick" nation with a healthy, more moral one requires dismantling all labor laws, all safety net programs and letting everyone live on what we can accumulate and die off if that's all we can. They have no problem with their goal's great similarity to third-world nations or their people's deplorable conditions; those proven worthy don't share those conditions.

Btw, dad was a great admirer of the Third Reich, and it could be that the two"worthy" of his four sons (by their definition) may just be viciously amoral fascistic archconservatives. They don't only arrogantly love breaking laws, they also have no problem using government to benefit them.

Something to keep in mind, also their alliance with Christian dominionists, as we wonder what their next actions might be in this war for control of our nation.

They won't do anything until it directly affects them and their families...then watch them scurry, like roaches when you turn on the lights!!!
