This pig who is calling people trying to survive lazy, as his fat ass is out playing golf is my last straw. I need a big, huge glass of wine...and many more.

I started at 130 here.

Can't decide which I'm enjoying more, the drinking or the stress eating.

Homemade chicken pot pie with puff pastry crust for dinner tonight and double vodka cranberries times two (so far)

A very rare event. I'm retired live alone and enjoyed being a bit naughty starting the day.

I, too, am retired and have spent many sleepless nites since 11/8. Perhaps I have not been drinking enough.

Shower, late dinner, first glass of wine, and thinking I could watch a movie set the stage for the morning. 11/8 was a punch in the gut. County vote here 26% Clinton makes me look at my neighbors in a new dimmer light.

I had my champagne chill and was going to have it even if it was morning...I just kept drinking, but no the bubbly...yeah, there's been more wine and beer consumption in our household...

I will have one hand in the air in defiance and the other will be hold my boxed wine...none of the one bottle stuff for me!!!

I'm overseas and it was afternoon when the election results became clear. I was so stunned, shocked, that I felt I needed something stronger than an ordinary beer (too cheerful), needed something medicinal -- like in old movies where they give someone in that situation a shot of brandy. I went out to buy brandy and wondered if every Democrat in the country was at the liquor store at the same time.

Nobody sober would have looked at the 18th century British Empire, and thought "they're not so tough"

And I still don't think Boris Yeltsin climbs atop a tank in Moscow and denounces the USSR if he's sober.

So go for it!

Speaking of which...Excuse me, I need to go pick up enough tequila to get through the weekend.
