(114 posts)Coherent, informed, succinct, logical, rational, experienced, and that is without checking the thesaurus for other adjectives under 'What a president should be'. Now just put a Dis, il, un, in front of them and we have King T. Sad.

(8,133 posts)We still have no power here. Little gas, no ice, hard to find bottled water (our water has to be boiled) ha-ha- kind of hard to do when you have no way to heat it.

(8,133 posts)She is bedridden so we really can't do much. I was fanning her and wiping her with a wet cloth which she put on top of her head. Someone was saying people were dying in nursing homes here. We do have a nurses aide who comes twice a day and is with her for 5 hours so that does help.

(41,963 posts)The nursing home story seems impossible to me not that people don't die from heat but so many with no one screaming to high heaven? Keep

(41,963 posts)I'm so happy to see and hear her, to feel that gut level security that comes from your very life being in a responsible person's hands, even in fantasy.
The fact she is alive, strong, nasty as fuck and free to show us what we need and what we still need to seek...that's restorative.

(12,448 posts)watching her speak clearly, concisely, intelligently makes me want to cry yet again. She was wonderful. She's not mincing her words about Trump, Comey, and the "clear and present danger." Finally, she can speak out.
I'm still with her.
better
(884 posts)I thought her entire performance in that interview, and especially how she handled the questions about Comey, was brilliant. The contrast between the way she called into question Comey's questionable actions regarding the email "scandal" without impugning the reliability of his testimony and the way Trump assaults the character of anyone who displays anything less than blind loyalty could not have been more clear.

watched, and there were millions, couldn't help but compare this brave, intelligent and competent woman with the trump reality that endangers our country. She is a powerful reminder that trump has to be legally removed from office.

ecstatic
(32,704 posts)to set the tone and make the contrast between Clinton and 45* crystal clear to even the dumbest trumpeters. Clinton is smart, prepared, thoughtful, and she truly loves her country. I believe her 100% when she describes how she'd react if the situation were reversed.

(2,916 posts)...about the people around him, "They may need to hold their fire until something is serious enough to intervene."
The way she said it, though, was interesting. It gave me odd hope, I guess, that someone could step in and end this madness legally.

(7,188 posts)It was terrific, both in terms of the questions and the responses. It wasn't a gotcha interview but Rachel asked some hard questions.
I really liked Rachel's take away at the end about Facebook, as we are seeing that become a larger and larger issue.
