Furious Trump attacked idiot Sessions and told him to quit over Mueller then rejected his resignation: reportSARAH K. BURRIS

President Donald Trump was reportedly irate over special counsel Robert Mueller being appointed and he took it out on Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
According to a New York Times report, Trump raked Sessions over the coals in an Oval Office meeting and told the attorney general he should resign. Evidently, the blame fell to the former Alabama senator because Trump felt if Sessions hadnt recused himself then the Justice Department would be in charge of the investigation. Since Sessions recused himself, Trump charged him with disloyalty and a string of insults were unleashed.
Sessions reportedly told Trump he would resign and sent a letter saying as much to the White House, according to four different sources. Sessions even vented about the humiliating way in which Trump addressed him and called it demeaning. Remarkably similar to the way Gen. John Kelly has described Trump, Sessions said that it was the worst hes ever been spoken to in his professional life.

(22,037 posts)Is anyone surprised that this abysmal management style suits Trump perfectly? He's stupid, incurious, mentally limited and mentally damaged. Of course he raked Sessions over the coals! His only ability as a bully is to dominate people. If any boss ever spoke to me the way I imagine Trumps has, I wouldn't accept his rejection of my resignation. Screw that. What's Trump going to do? Arrest me?
Sessions is a tiny little shell of a man if he lets Trump demean him this way. Oh, that's right. He's a Keebler elf.
Unless, there's more afoot. After all, Sessions has his own problem with the Russians. It wouldn't surprise me if the White House Counsel, Don McGahn hadn't weighed in on Session's resignation letter. What other mess could still be forthcoming? Who knows with this crew of criminals?

(15,805 posts)Jefferson Beauregard Sessions flounced out of the Oval Office in a high dudgeon. With skirts in hand, his heeled pumps made a loud staccato tapping against the polished hardwood floor as tears of humiliation welled up in his soft blue eyes.
