What We Are Pretending Not To Know

Too many Americans are pretending not to know how much do do we are in so many ways. Whether it is global warming and that is exactly what it is and not climate change which is the politically correct mantra being bandied about or whether it is the fact that globalization and trade policy is about reducing wages for American workers to that of third world nations, we cannot seem to understand that voting for progressive values and policies is way to begin to restore equity in the US.

If you run for office as a pro labor or pro worker candidate or pro economic. You lose and you lose big time. You are viewed as a socialist at best or a communist at worse. Some how workers sharing the wealth that they create for the ownership class is just too much "income redistribution".

We pay individually and as a nation by the way we pretend. And we will not go in the right direction as a nation until we admit to the realities we face.

We all know that the GOP will never admit to anything. They are of the ilk that they would not admit that the Titanic was sinking even as it was half way down to the bottom.

So why anyone would vote for any GOP candidate is just inexplicable.
