3. Republicans won't understand a word he said, that's why he was a guest

on Lawrence's show and speaking to a Democratic audience. Unlike most of his own party, George Will knew that Democrats would not only understand him, but agree. Even if some viewers didn't recognize that word he used, condign, he knew that most Democrats would have the intellectual curiosity to go look it up, something no Republican would ever do.
