Just paid 2.99 a gallon, was a little over $2 yesterday. All of the Quick Trips are out anywhere by me, just the crappy stations left that still have fuel (Conoco).
If you are in Richardson there are a couple stations with gas off Jupiter North of Beltline FYI

(15,696 posts)Eastchase Parkway on the eastern edge of town, a station on Brentwood Stair near Loop 820, and one on Pennsylvania Ave downtown across the street from Harris Hospital had really long lines blocking the right lanes of traffic for several blocks.
The one on Brentwood Stair had a woman directing traffic in and out of the station, in order to keep people entering one way and exiting another way. very smart!
Gas was $2.05 last week. $2.49 last night.

(9,974 posts)I travel for work and am not there now but am getting pretty bad descriptions from family.
A family member's co-worker saw someone pull a gun out when he thought someone cut in line.
All the stations in my town of 25,000 (Little Elm) are out of gas, per the gasbuddy app as of this morning.
Police are having to direct traffic at some stations, lines are out onto the street.

(12,894 posts)I live in DFW and saw lines wrapped around street corners, waiting to get gas at QuikTrips and 7-11' s around where I live. People saw the tanker bringing gas to our local 7-11 and they flocked to it. I went several hours later to get me some nachos and chat with the attendant working inside and he said that they were sending tankers from Oklahoma. HOWEVER, talked to an older man at the pump and he said the railroad commissioner said there was millions of gallons in reserve here in Texas and that this "gas shortage" is hype to line some pockets. Taking advantage of the public during a crisis. It's crazy
