Tax cuts for the rich, folks, that's what he's talking about.
"We're here today to launch our plans to bring back Main Street by reducing the crumbling burden on our companies and on our workers," Trump said in Springfield, Missouri. "The foundation of our job creation agenda is to fundamentally reform our tax code for the first time in more than 30 years."
Trump's pitch leaned heavily on the economic benefits tax reform could deliver and aimed to get ahead of Democratic arguments that Trump's tax reform plans would overwhelmingly benefit the wealthiest Americans, as independent tax experts have estimated.

(3,208 posts)My husband works in a plastic manufacturing plant (they make the parts for cool whip in a can! and that foam insulation). I asked my husband "If your employer got a tax cut, would they hire more people?" and he said "NO!". They would hire more people IF MORE PEOPLE are buying cool whip in a can!
There are plenty of empty stores around my next of the woods, yes, even on our small main street. These fill up with businesses when PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY have money to spend. They are not empty because of local or state taxes!
Even I can figure this out!
(excuse me for shouting, but this really pisses me off!)
