(6,913 posts)Personality disorders are not mental illnesses, and I think he suffers from a personality disorder, not a mental illness. He is unfit for the job in that he has no idea how politics works and no learning curve. That doesn't seem to me, in itself, sufficient for removal.

Not that it makes much difference at this point. But I'm assuming the DSM would make a distinction between a person who lacks empathy and a moral conscious, and a person who hears dogs talking to him
