How does Trump Exit the Presidency?

Personally, I'm going with his junk-food diet and lack of exercise. (The man is 71 years old, after all.)

and he's found himself back in military school. I suppose a flounce is possible, but just.

I'm still hoping for the nice men leading him away quietly in the wee hours to an undisclosed location where he'll get happy pills and long talks with men in white coats while his press secretary comes up with the fantasy of a serious medical condition that will prevent him from serving out his term.

Not saying that it is probable..but possible.

Would require the economy to sustain its growth ( thanks President Obama) .Trump will undoubtedly & shamelessly take credit even if doesn't get a single major bill passed. Most importantly Muller doesn't indict him ( not before 2020 at the very least) and one of the chambers with impeachment proof number of Republicans.

So above conditions will improve his chances of him being reelected.

Probable - NO. Possible - YES.

Pretty obvious which one. I recommend removing it, it's not good for DU.

In which case, the "Other" category suffices.

No one is going to make their mark on that specific choice, even if they believed it. For the very reason I pointed out: it's not good for DU to put this out into the tribal ether.

He will declare victory but complain of the unfair way he and his family have been and are being treated. He will then resign, take victory laps, give speeches about how great he was and the jobs he saved.

Everyone will be nicer to him because they are so glad he went away.

The media...wah wah.

I like Ted Lieu's take on that aspect: "Public officials get criticized and ridiculed. Don't like it? Don't run for public office."

Paraphrasing - but that was the gist of what Lieu said. I agree 100%.

I wouldn't like it either, and definitely couldn't hack it. But I also have zero intention of ever running for office anywhere.

Didn't you hear about Trump's phone call from Sigmund Freud? According to Trump, he just wanted to reassure Trump that his mental health was the greatest, the sanest of every president, king, and even the queens. Before he hung up Siggy even said he loves the Donald almost as much as the Donald loves himself.

30. Other: Removal by Putin
Sun Aug 6, 2017, 11:26 PM
Aug 2017

Not sure how it would actually go down in this scenario, but I am certain that Putin has LOTS of dirt on #PresidentTweety. Even though the Donald has no conceptions of humiliation, embarrassment, or even that he could have made an error, it's within Putin's power to destroy Trump whenever he feels like it. Not the peepee tape, though I have doubts about that even existing, but solid evidence of much more conventional crimes going back for decades.

The real question is what would provoke Putin to that degree. It can't be simple nonperformance, because I'm certain that he's been fully aware of Trump's incompetence for many years. No way he could be clinging to any expectations of Trump actually doing something useful to help Russia. More likely it would be due to some internal problem in Russia that called for an external distraction, and the Donald is really good at distraction. Nothing else, but Trump is a YUGE distraction.

Worst case scenario.

But, we need to gain and hold the Congress. Then refuse to consider any Supreme Court nominations.
