Explain me this.

How's come the powers that be have decided just about everything bought in the US is worth roughly twice as many dollars as it was worth in 1980 except for my labors. They decided that is worth less dollars.

That is a question I was asking myself as I looked at our Electric Utility asking for another 14% rate increase this year from our Public Service Commission.
