(28,257 posts)Sessions staying on empowers trump to wipe his ass with the Justice Department, at will. Congressional hearings on whoever trump came up with as Sessions' successor would have been a media spectacle, eroding what little is left of trump's public standing. The dirty little Confederate's lack of guts and self-respect just serves to prolong things.
