Does the monstrous GOP health "care" bill directly affect CHIP?

My family relies on the Children's Health Insurance Program. It was extended by President Obama throughout his terms in office. I'm terrified at the thought of these monsters taking it away from us. I tried researching the question online but couldn't find any direct answers. Please help.

Even if it's available now doesn't mean it will continue. You never know with these turds what they will end up doing.

my children's coverage under a CHIP plan did *not* count as continuous coverage that would insulate them from pre-existing condition exclusions. As a result, when they had to come off the CHIP plan (because I started making too much money), it was almost impossible to get them covered in the individual market.

So any alterations in amount of medicaid dollars or form of medicaid dollars provided to states would most likely impact state funding allocations for all branches of Medicaid coverage.
