Here's Some Of The People Responsible For The 'Nancy Must Go' Meme

So we have Kristal Ball and Tim Ryan trying to get rid of Pelosi so they can direct the focus of the party. As for Ryan, he tried to unseat Pelosi and lost so we can’t discount the sour grapes there. Both of these two have been on the airwaves making a less then compelling argument for their point of view though Ryan doesn’t really come clean about being one of the people behind the group. As for Ball, why would Dems follow her, who is she anyway to be attacking anyone.

“The People's House Project, founded by former MSNBC host and 2010 Virginia congressional candidate Krystal Ball, has begun interviewing candidates and recruiting donors for the new political action committee. The organization, which will go public on Tuesday, will provide money, guidance, and political connections for the candidates it chooses to run under its banner.

But Ball was more willing to directly attack the Democratic Party’s leadership in the House — and cast the new effort as an attempt to break with it. Some political analysts say Democratic candidates are weighed down by what the Cook Political Report calls the “Pelosi Factor.” In the home stretch of several House elections, including Thursday’s Montana race, Republicans have deployed images of Pelosi in attack ads to go after their Democratic opponents.

“She’s an impediment to every House Democrat in the country except for a few coastal enclaves,” Ball said in an interview. Candidates running under the People’s House Project will be able to say they’re of a different cast than Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, Ball said.
Ball and the House Democrats behind the People’s House Project say they’re determined to shake that image. They’ll try to fundraise for the PAC’s candidates, recruit candidates that fit the bill, and give them a slogan to use to try to distinguish themselves from the national party. “It will allow them to say, ‘I’m a different kind of Democrat,’” said Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH), one of the House Democrats backing the project, in an interview. “It’s hard to convince people around here sometimes how toxic our brand is. But, clearly the brand is damaged, and we need to see if something else can work.”

“Which brings us back to Nancy Pelosi. Most of the voices calling for her to go are coming from younger Democrats, a lot of them allied with the Berniecrat wing of the party. (Ironically, the Republicans ran ads tying Jon Ossoff to Sanders, that socialist menace. Plus ca change…) I am charmed to my bones by the faith these young folks have that Pelosi's replacement would be someone dedicated to single-payer healthcare, the $15 minimum wage, and hanging banksters from lamp posts. More than likely, it would be someone like, say, Tim Ryan from Ohio, who talks the salt-o'-the-earth talk about economic anxiety, but who flipped on abortion in 2015, when it became convenient to do so, and who won an NRA endorsement in his first campaign. This development would not be to their liking.”

It is not popular but I call again for all those who continue to split the party to move on with their BS and leave those who want to retain being solid democrats to rebuild the party. Will any changes to party leadership be discussed? The Party has had probably the most catastrophic 8 years in its history, everything is just awesome at the top though? The country is literally descending into fascism, but we can't even discuss changing leadership. Amazing.

Evidently, chuck todd called tim ryan out on this..

"He's interviewing Tim Ryan of Ohio, who is going on and on about how bad Pelosi is, saying "she has no plan for this", "she has no plan for that". Finally Chuck Todd interrupted him and asked, "so where's yours?"

He was dumbfounded and didn't know how to answer.

Then he asked, "other than hand wringing, what do you do?"

Still no sensible answer."
