The UK Tories plan till sell off ALL, literally ALL, national forests

My first reaction was, oh thank God, it's something someone else's conservatives are doing to destroy their society for once, not our beloved GOP

https://www.theguardian.com/environment/blog/2010/dec/22/tory-privatisation-all-state-forests

(Quote starts)
"Here is Paice is in front of the House of Lords select committee: 'Part of our policy is clearly established: we wish to proceed with very substantial disposal of public forest estate, which could go to the extent of all of it…'

Paice also accepts that foreign companies might want to buy up the trees, and that foreign-owned energy companies might want to cut the whole lot down for renewable energy. This is clearly not going to be received well in the Tory shires, where the trees mostly are."
(End quote - I really miss blockquotes)

But now I'm like, don't anyone tell Trump this is happening. The last thing he needs is a source of new ideas to make America great again
