That he didn't know he shouldn't be calling Comey or that he didn't know enough about the law to understand he was engaging in obstruction of justice. The man was elected president. He is supposed to know MORE than the average citizen, not less. He has the DOJ, the White House Counsel, and personal lawyers. He is surrounded by people to set him straight. Ignorance of the law is not an excuse for a president, even one as stunningly incompetent as Trump.
