Is the great karmic lesson before the United Sates today: Either our two main political parties learn to work together for the common good of the nation, or they must watch helplessly as a foreign power exploits those political divisions and partisanship for their own nefarious gain. Either we learn to overcome this as a nation, or we go the way of the great failed empires and superpowers of history. It's as impartial as a law of physics or biology - whenever dysfunction and blockage become too extreme in a living, or a political system, invasive opportunistic infections on the body politic will take over.

Every time we do, the next thing you know, we're being blamed for the messes they made.

The Goopers take credit for everything that goes right, we get the blame for their messes, and they call us 'tax and spend liberals'.

Fuck bipartisanship. We need naked, unashamed partisanship.
