His "deep" articles are devoid of insight.

Hopefully McMaster will install some experienced professionals.

He's in the process of setting that up now.

Thank you Joy Reid, and shame on the rest of the cowardly MSM. Americans should not have to get their news from the Guardian UK and Twitter, but they have been more reliable than MSM (MSNBC being exception. Rachel has been great, and Joy).

....on Bannon.

Bannon has enough of a media platform in BreitBart and with her money backing to make a lot of trouble for 45 if he's ousted.

McMaster only cares about national security and Russia and almost nothing about white supremacists in the WH. If he did care he would never have taken the job to begin with.

blame on McMaster. Something about him picking his battles for now.

T likes Bannon, and maybe is a little afraid of him. The Mercers have had deep pockets for T, and so the Bannon issue is a little more complex for T than others.

on the Mercers and Kochs. They are odious human beings and have too much power. They give not a fucking shit for their country and have nothing but contempt for human beings.

They are all utter fucking monsters.

beyond the pale. And the obsession with goat piss...I mean, it defies belief.

Turns out Robert Mercer owes the IRS 7 billion, which is why he installed Bannon, Sessions and Flynn in WH as his chess pieces.

.....have been given a pass by Bannon/Trump simply by voicing some qualms or opinions (in code) that Bannon would have known right away signaled a divergence of goals.

I think Bannon is very, very careful on who he includes. Not careful about their corruption (a la Flynn) but careful about their ideology.

Maybe McMaster was persuaded to take the job by people who believe that a purge and subsequent coup are necessary.

I have said all along that at some point 45 will burn through every bit of his staff and be sitting all alone at the oval office desk ranting at the paintings.

It was a star trek episode when everyone disappeared from the ship, leaving beverly crusher all alone as the captain.

At some point, interns will be answering phones from heads of state, the butlers will be telling people that no one's home, and senators will wander in, wondering wtf needs to get done to keep the country open and the paychecks moving to federal workers.....

Interestingly enough, most of the IC realizes that taking over, or supporting a facist state at home is not a stable enough environment to support the bureaucracy; the political stress to gain and retain power distracts from "the mission" - it's far more efficient and expedient in the long term to be "the power behind the throne", as it were, and let a stable democracy and economic base run the country. And it's critical to have a reality-based objective analysis on world events and risks that is not colored by personal biases that can turn around and bite the community in the ass.

No matter their personal politics and viewpoints, the IC understands that End-time Dominionists and Leninist Destabilizers are bad for a country's business. Easy enough to manipulate, but too hard and expensive to control. And preferably, dictators should be in other countries, not the home country...

This is just long-term self-protection on their part.
