(6,537 posts)She seems to want us to overlook any Russian interference in the election. I wonder if she would have felt the same way had Bernie won the nomination. I doubt it.

These are tough times for those in the US who challenge the orthodox conventional narrative on the Ukraine conflict.
US media blindly accept the official US government version of events in Ukraine, and it is complicit in creating the false narrative that may lead the US toward war.
Why does the US media focus on the Russia angle concerning the leaked DNC emails, and not the substance? Voter fraud not addressed.
Why isn't the US cooperating with Russia over Syria?
Many of the problems and disputes can be negotiated
Near collision of Russian fighter jet and American spy plane another provocation that can escalate
There are war parties on both sides discussing a possible war scenario
Time is short, we need a debate in both countries about how to avert a crisis
It is sober realism to say that the United States and Russia must partner to resolve world problems

It makes everything go away. Even his supporters think it works, and sadly, a lot of otherwise responsible journalists think it works, too. But it may be that the incantation is losing some of its magical power from overuse and being repeatedly disproven. I don't know what President Trump and his supporters will do then.

(12,162 posts)The only "news" in this article (AFAIK) is that the U.K. got a copy of that dossier back in December (the same time the U.S. did). That was not previously known. However there is nothing there that says they confirmed any of the information it contained.

'It was not previously known that the UK intelligence services had also received the dossier but Steele confirmed in a court filing earlier this month that he handed a memorandum compiled in December to a senior UK government national security official acting in his official capacity, on a confidential basis in hard copy form."
