Last week on DU Adam Schiff tweeted for Americans to call the House Intel Cmte (22 of them). What is up with them? Today 73% of Americans want an investigation. Why do we have to keep calling them to have them DO THEIR JOBS and represent us!

2. Glad you asked...here's why:

Sen. Richard Burr, republican, is head of that Committee, just as rep. Nunes was head of the House Comm.
Remember, the Republicans have a a slight majority in the House and Senate.
Therefore, the Chairs of most of the Committees are Republicans.
And it is the chairs which determine how and when the Committees operate.

Therefore, it is important that Burr feels accountable to the voters.
