Thom Hartmann has excellent insight on many political and historical topics and even science, but I had to turn off the show as he had on that quack DEEPAK CHOPRA and then let a caller babble on about how alternative medicine treated her after a car crash that supposedly "killed" her.
At least Nicole Sandler is on for Randi Rhodes right now.

(1,262 posts)that the new age movement is a form of capitalist/corporatist social engineering for the segment of the population that would otherwise have accepted fundamentalist christianity. If you dig down past all the woo and the galactic hierarchies and the 2012 ascension, you get some of the same basic memes that the right wing fundies believe.
