How many points will chumps approval ratings go up for this bogus attack?

I think he gets a bump of 3-4 points from his special kind of stupid supporters who were getting disappointed in him. Nice diversion off the Russia story, but the media still likes the Russia story which isn't going away.

but more than make up for that with the dumfuckistan "we're number one" unwashed masses and even some support from the center left (we need to remove Assad because he is a war criminal crowd).

He will be at 45 percent approval in any tracking poll that is taken today or tomorrow. Drops again in a week after it becomes clear that this one time strike did very little damage to Assad's ability to wage war.

Any kind of military action, even if it's just for show, always carries the risk of unintended consequences. The Trumpazoids might be disappointed that the missiles didn't do much damage or kill a bunch of people, but they'll get to pound their chests with one fist, holding a beer in the other, and chant U!S!A!. Maybe a couple of points for SCROTUS until he loses interest in Syria next week - like he lost interest in health care when he didn't win right away.

But there's always the possibility that even though Russia (and therefore Syria) were warned in advance, they now want to do a bit of their own military wienie-wagging to remind the world that Putin really does own Trump.

I don't think it will depend on what will happen next because I don't think anything will happen next if putin, assad, and tRUMP were all in this together!

He has a way of doing or saying really dumb things that tend to blunt all the efforts to raise his approval ratings. In fact, he has been known to turn things around in a matter of hours. After his heady experience of coming to the podium last night to "look presidential", he is sure to come forward today to either BRAG about how great or smart he is while spewing something insulting to Obama. He can't help himself...it is Who he is at his core.

Shades of 2001 - 2006. Dem leadership in House/Senate still hasn't learned anything as far as being the opposition party.
Where is the sustained outrage about this and the nuclear option. He'll give a few crumbs here and there, like dubya did, and they praise him for it.
