he didn't crater the runways; that many of the missile's were shot down; and the Russians were warned - who will Trump blame?

to seriously damage and easily repaired. The facilities that support the airfield are much more effective targets.

OTH it is not like the Syrians only have one airbase. Within 24 hours they units based at the targeted base can be fully operational at a different base.

All theatre for the libtards who fall for the Trump has a real SAD now and wants to be real WORLD LEADER schtick.

So many saying this was the right response, so WHY did they avoid cratering the runways.

That sure says it all. Assad will be back in biz in a jiffy

I don't think tomahawks are really designed for major damage on the runways. And the damage they would do it wouldn't have as big of effect on being able to use the airstrip. They probably considered the cruise missles would work better on the other targets they chose.

Wouldn't it be more likely to do minimal damage something flat to the ground? Some thing like the bunker buster bombs which burrow in and make deep holes to me would seem to be the ones preferred to crater a runway.

Anyways even though dipshit donnie said he knew more then the generals. I'm sure all he did was run around in circles and ask what should he do. Then let the pentagon figure out what the strike would be.

a Tomahawk would leave a 'small' crater in a runway which would be very quickly repaired.

That same Tomahawk used against a more vulnerable target, such as fueling facilities or even a parts warehouse will have a much greater effect on operations and take longer to repair.
