Republicans dwell in a new era of human consciousness: The Agnotocene
I came across this term while reading a book review in The Guardian.
The book defines Agnotocene as "closing one’s ears and eyes to the evidence." Of course it's not just lies and climate change that republicans refuse to understand, it's also the profoundly dangerous ACTS OF WAR* being perpetrated against the United States of America by russia, Acts of War that are aided and abetted by republican comrades and mob cronies. Nary a republican will lift a finger to defend America against the blatant Acts of War. That is totally deplorable. * per Dick Cheney ![]() Link to the book review: https://www.theguardian.com/books/2017/apr/05/the-shock-of-the-anthropocene-review?CMP=twt_books_b-gdnbooks

1. A perfect description! It's nation threatening...
There is a real sickness permeating our country and apparently very little can be done to fight it. I desperately want to believe that this can be turned around before some fatal damage results.
I'm not a fatalist by nature. This entire election and the outrageous results, however, has blown me totally into a different realm of mental anxiety. That these men have so openly violated so many laws without accountability, that a person of such low life caliber, minuscule mental capacity and foul personality sits in the White House (instantaneously destroying the reputation and denigrating the value of the "hallowed" grounds) is beyond comprehension and has rocked this nation to the core. Not that these elements of vileness haven't always been lurking, but the imbalance now of the treacherous is lethal to us all. This administration skillfully tapped into The Vast Stupid to get a minority but powerful portion of the populous behind them, but the manipulations, money driven corruption and infiltration of foreign control combined with those idiots to create the Perfect Storm of destruction. Cheney's quote comes from a darkened soul that is shriveled and mean and driven by his foul control freak psyche, not his love of country and certainly not his respect for Democracy. His ilk and manipulative puppetry of the vomitous bush years progressed the evil. But that doesn't negate the truth of his statement. Russia, for fuck sake. Russia. ...and Republicans. I think the Republicans DO understand exactly what they are destroying. With glee. Our real enemies. |
