Trumpcare Raids Medicare To Enrich The Wealthy And Plant A Bomb
I'm just hoping like heck the Senate stops this murderous crap cold and Republican buttwipes pulling this bs pay a huge price at the polls for decades to come.
![]() http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trumpcare-raids-medicare-to-enrich-the-wealthy-and_us_58c994ace4b0537abd956d5f *Snip* While the media has highlighted the impact on Medicaid and on seniors not yet on Medicare, few have spotlighted the roadmap of destruction obviously in the works for Medicare itself. Trumpcare plants the bomb, where it will remain until the Republicans detonate it later this year and blow up Medicare. *Snip* Now here’s the ticking time bomb: Trumpcare raids Medicare of $117 billion and puts it into the pockets of the rich. That raiding of Medicare, along with a provision that increases Medicare’s hospital payments by $43 billion, paves the way for further destructive action later in the year.

2. All we can do is keep getting the word out and...
fighting them in whatever we our abilities and finances allow. It may not even be much but we have to try and fight this.

4. Ah.. my sympathies. So you're in a red district of NY too...
Our rep is Paul Ryan apostle, Elise Stephanik. I'm hoping that if the Dems could get a hard hitter candidate and funds they might be able to take her out next election. Her district has a lot of low income, elderly and disabled in it that are going to be very badly hurt by these cuts/changes but they need to hear the facts, not the bs R talking points. The challenge is going to be stopping the damage BEFORE is done and people are harmed.
Being in the boonies I don't think we have an indivisible group near us but I'll check to see if maybe they have a forum or such online. Oh and you're welcome for the encouragement. IMO we all need to stick together and make ourselves heard not just for ourselves but for those with no voice at all. ![]() |
